Artist's Comments
These are two boxes I have for Otakon. They are unfinished at the moment (need to glaze them and remove the paint from metal parts, etc, little touch ups)
the boxes themselves are made out of wood, painted with craft acrylics, and the sculptures on top are made from clay, acrylic, and caulk. haha. i know, right? caulk. it has a nice icing effect, i think. will be scrapped later. maybe. i always forget to scrap my stuff when i say i want to. oh well. my fingers were covered in caulk when i was doing the strawberry cake. im a messy artist. you can tell from my keyboard in the background. bahaha. and yes, i just uploaded these same pictures on twitter so sorry if you saw them there first and came here and was dissapointed. ill make it up to you. somehow. SOMEHOW. |
